Ordering, Payment and Dispatch
Our Carriage charge is a flat rate, £10.00, for any number of plants to most parts of the UK.
After you have placed your order on-line you will receive an automatic reply virtually immediately telling you that it has been placed.
You will then receive, within the next twenty-four hours, a personal email from us confirming details, a suggested delivery date and a request for delivery instructions if not already provided. We will ask for a location of where the box(es) of plants may be left - for example by the back door, in the garage, with neighbour at no.XX etc. We prefer to put 'signature optional' on the delivery note then there is no need for you to stay in to sign for the plants. If you would prefer the added security of signing for the plants please let us know and we will note your dispatch note accordingly. If the delivery date we nominate is not convenient we can alter it to suit you.

Carriage Charge (including packaging):
England and Wales Next Day Delivery £10.00 however many plants you buy. For parts of Scotland and Islands there's no problem in delivering but the cost is more, please contact us giving your postcode and we'll let you know what the carriage will cost. We work out the best price (Royal Mail, Parcelforce or carrier) for sending your plants according to the number of plants you have ordered and your location.
We accept payment by cheque, bacs or debit/credit card. For on-line payments we use Square or PayPal. Both Square and PayPal debit your card at the time of ordering but should there be any problem we would refund you straightaway. You do not need to hold an account with PayPal. If paying by cheque, please use the ‘limited amount’ method in case we cannot supply all your plants. On the lower amount line of the cheque put ‘Not to exceed £XXX’, this being the maximum cost of your order including postage. We will fill in the exact amount and inform you of the final total. If paying by bacs quote our account name 'ProperPlants.com', our sort code 09-06-66, our bank account number 41105201, reference your surname and please let us know by email if you pay this way.
We aim to dispatch your order within 5 days, we will contact you before dispatching to check the delivery date is convenient for you. We take great care packing your plants and expect our carriers to do the same. Should there be any problems please contact us immediately, we want you to be pleased with your plants, and will do our best to rectify any hiccups.
