A rare agapanthus and exceptionally lovely, one of my favourites. An eye-catching pale blue with a touch of grey, floriferous with masses of heads of flowers that are upright in bud and slow turn as they open, rather like a ballerina's tutu. Semi-evergreen leaves but quite hardy; we have been growing it in our garden in Cornwall (inland with regular frosts in winter), it is more deciduous but reshoots quickly in the spring and does not affect the flowering.
Well-drained soil and sunny site, also excellent in pots.
