Agapanthus praecox

Good-sized round, showy full flower heads of blue flowers above evergreen strappy leaves. A good grower in a warm sheltered site. Benefits from shelter from cold weather, particularly easterly winds, and in colder areas of the UK is probably better grown in a large pot and given protection of a cold greenhouse or cool conservatory during the winter months.
These agapanthus are the type that are growing 'wild' on The Isles of Scilly.
