Crocosmia pan. 'Natal'

£6.50Price

A less well known crocosmia. It was found on Drake's Island in Plymouth Sound by David Fenwick who held the National Collection of Crocosmia for a time. It is thought that either a seed or corm was dropped there during the time Boer prisoners of war were living on the island. A stately plant with tubular, darkish orange-red flowers above pleated leaves, summertime. Lovely in a mixed border. Tolerant of most soils, sun or part shade.
Height 5ft.
In 2 litre pots and flowering size
